Sometimes people email me to ask my permission to use a resource from Byrdseed in their classrooms or in a presentation. Yes! Absolutely. Share the site, modify the ideas, tweak and tell others!
You don’t need to ask my permission – in fact, please don’t ask for my permission! 😊
I do, however, ask that you only speak from experience. That is, only talk about things that you’ve actually tried.
To get specific, everything on Byrdseed.com (unless otherwise noted) is published under the Creative Commons license Attribution – Share Alike. This means:
- Attribution Use any resources on this site, just mention where you found it. You don’t need my permission.
- Share-Alike If you create something based on Byrdseed, you must share it in the same way that I have: allow others to make changes to your idea and pass it along with attribution. So, if you use something from Byrdseed in a presentation, you need to make that presentation available as freely as I have.
In summary: share away, clearly mention where you found it, and let others share what you create as well. No need to ask me for permission! :)
